Early Years Practitioner

 

Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term

 

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.00am till 4.00pm

 

Closing Date: 8th July 2026

 

Start date: 1st September 2026

 

The Role

 

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. You will be a key person, supporting children’s learning and well being through play based activities, building positive relationships with families and helping our setting run smoothly.

 

What You Will Do

 

•Support EYFS learning through engaging, play based activities

•Be a key person for a small group of children

•Observe & record learning using Tapestry

•Keep children safe and emotionally supported

•Work as part of a team to maintain a happy, organised environment

 

What We are Looking For

 

Essential:

 

•Level 2 qualification (or working towards Level 3)

•Experience with young children

•Understanding of the EYFS & safeguarding

•Warm, friendly and great with families

•Strong communication and teamwork

 

Desirable:

 

•Level 3 qualification

•Paediatric First Aid

•Additional early years training

Early Years Practitioner - Bank Staff Vacancies 

 

Contract: Zero hours contract, required for bank staff to cover holidays, holiday club and sickness
